In Barbados, abortion is legal to preserve the health of the pregnant person or in cases of rape. Up to 12 weeks, the approval of one licensed medical practitioner is required, and from 12 to 22 weeks, the approval of two licensed medical practitioners is required. After the gestational limit of 22 weeks, abortion is only legal to save the pregnant person's life, and the approval of three licensed medical practitioners is necessary.
