In Argentina, abortion is legal upon request for the first 14 weeks of pregnancy. Medical facilities are required to provide the procedure within 10 days of request. After the 14 week window, abortion is allowed in cases of rape and danger to the women's life/health. Children above the age of 13 are allowed to independently consent to the termination of pregnancy and those under 13 require the approval of at least one parent or guardian.
