In Albania, abortion is legal on request with the gestational limit of 12 weeks. Up to 22 weeks, the procedure is completely legal for social reasons and pregnancy as a result of sexual crime. There is no gestational limit for the termination of a pregnancy that endangers the life of the pregnant person or involves severe (incurable) fetal malformation.
