SheUniversal is a website and blog dedicated to making reproductive health information accessible and simple to understand for all. With political climates shifting, it has become harder for some women to gain information from government websites or direct sources, so we came up with a way to let everyone access the information they may need. According to PubMed Central, women's general knowledge of abortion legal status in their nations was lower than 50% in the results of 9 studies. 

As an entry for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Challenge, SheUniversal is in support of SDG 5.6—the goal that focuses on reproductive health. 

The Sustainable Development Goals are a set of 17 UN-supported benchmarks to be achieved by 2030. However, many aren't moving as fast as they should, with only 18% on track as of September 2025, according to the World Economic Forum. Gender equality is one of the goals that is, in reality, regressing, with no woman being equal to her male counterpart in any nation, according to UN Women. This deadline for the goals and the decrease of progreess on SDG 5 is what prompted us to join the challenge. The Sustainable Development Goals are not the responsibility of one group of people, but the responsibility of everyone globally.
