In Austria, abortion is legal on request for the first 13 weeks of pregnancy. After this limit, the procedure is legal if the woman became pregnant under 14 years of age, if the pregnancy poses serious danger to the life or health of the pregnant person, or if there is evident danger of a serious mental/physical defect in the fetus.
